Open everyday from 8.00 a.m to 11.30 p.m, Eco-Café encapsulates the laid-back charm of Chamiers. Whitewashed walls enclose a courtyard sheltered by a badam tree, whose leaves mirror spring, summer and autumn shades. Circular tables continue the cosy theme of a European-style café. The perfect place to share a meal with friends, dream and watch the world go by over a cup of tea, or read your favourite book as you sip the cool juice of the season’s fruit.

Breakfast at the Eco-Café is served between 8.30 a.m to 10 a.m, with a choice of omelette, bacon and sausages, baked beans and toast, coffee or tea. Vegetarians can opt for muesli and yogurt, toast and honey, coffee and tea. Croissants and cappuccino are available for those who like a lighter fare in the morning. On Sundays, the breakfast is served up to 12 noon.

Coffee is served both hot and cold through the day in Latte, Cappucino, Mocachino varieties, with Frappe and Coffee Shakes also available. The Nandan Royale range of organic coffees is used to make these brews.

A selection of organic and scented Teas tempts non-coffee drinkers. Nilgiris, Earl Grey, Iced Lemon or Peach, or Darjeeling and Kerala Orthodox are available.

Beverages and Mocktails cover a wide spectrum, from Lemonade and Ginger Nectar to Pina Coladas and Margharitas. Lingering over any of these with a friend or loved one is to be cherished indeed.

Mexican Specialities make attractive options for lunch and dinner, with salads like Guacamole, Al Queso and others available in both vegetarian, and chicken and tuna non-vegetarian options. Quesadillas, Tortillas and Burritos with many different fillings can be teamed with the Soup of the Day.

Italian Pasta, and Breton Specialities like Three Cheese Galette and Forestier continue the culinary journey, while a selection of sandwiches like Tuna and Mayo, Egg on Dill Cream, Baked Beans and Egg Toast and Salami Cheese and Chilly provide quick alternatives to bigger meals.

Sweet tooths can be indulged by the cakes, pastries, ice-creams and frozen yogurt. The Banana Nut Bread, Brownie, and Chocolate Mousse at Eco-Café bring devotees from far away places!

If you live too far away from Chennai for an immediate treat of these dishes, download some delicious recipes from the Eco-Cafe to get a taste of what it offers in your own kitchen.
